The Best Morning Smoothie Bowl Ever

If you follow me on snapchat you’ll know that I love a smoothie bowl for brekkie. Having a juice or a smoothie in the morning is a great way to kick start your day and get a whole lot of goodness into your body! I know a lot of people worry about having too many servings of fruit and therefore too many calories in a meal, but I say fuck that. If you’re eating loads of fruit and veggies throughout the day, and being active, as well as avoiding too many processed foods or foods that are high in preservatives and chemicals, your body is going to love you. I literally eat an avocado a day and probably 5 servings of fruit, and I think I’m doing just fine!

I’ve found my favourite combination for a breakfast smoothie bowl at the moment which I think you guys will love too!

The recipe is super simple and will take you 5 minutes to make. It’s raw and vegan and full of essential vitamins and minerals to fill you up!

Ingredients:
Smoothie –
1.5 frozen bananas
1.5 frozen mango
4 dates
1/2 avocado
handful of spinach
handful of kale
tbsp chia seeds (activated by sitting in water for 30 mins)
tspn cinnamon

Topping: (Optional… but oh so good)
coconut flakes
raw vegan muesli

Method:
Blend all ingredients together in a nutribullet or blender. Tip into a bowl to serve. Top with coconut flakes and raw vegan muesli!

and of course…ENJOY 😀 : D
